Villa Los Frailes is the ultimate vacation rental on the East Cape of
Baja Mexico. Villa Los Frailes is spacious and open with breathtaking
ocean views from every room. The 4 bedrooms and 5 full sized bathrooms
easily accommodate 2 or 3 families or up to 10 guests.
Vacation Rental Floor Plan
This vacation rental features plenty of privacy in two sleeping wings each
consisting of a master bedroom with king bed and second bedroom with two double
beds. Each bedroom includes a large private bath and walk in closet.
The sleeping wings are separated by a large central living/dining area. All
rooms open onto the expansive hot tub and pool terrace just steps above the
white sand beach and the Sea of Cortez.
Guest Services
Our live-in caretaker, Salomon, will meet you at the villa when you arrive
and will make sure everything is working properly during your stay. We want to
make your stay as carefree as possible. If you need something, just ask,
and Salomon will do his best to help you out. Salomon and his family live
in the guest house attached to the garage.
Authentic Mexican Meals Available
One highly recommended option is to order an authentic Mexican dinner for
your first night at the villa. Salomon's sister, Julia, prepares
incredible meals for $12/person. There is usually plenty for lunch the
next day as well. Please contact Salomon to make arrangements.
All Amenities Included
This luxurious baja vacation rental has all of the amenities of home
including a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, multimedia entertainment center,
laundry room, and huge entertainment patio with a gas barbecue. A special
bonus to our guests is the use of a boat with an outboard motor and four sea
kayaks.
Air Conditioning and Solar Power
Due to the villa’s remote location, we run entirely on solar and generator
power. For this reason, we ask guests to be mindful of their energy use.
Air-conditioning is available, but we try to only turn it on in the bedrooms
just before bed time. Trade winds and ceiling fans help to keep the villa
cool during the day.
What to Bring to the Villa
You will find most everything you'll need at Villa Los Frailes. The
kitchen is large and well equipped with everything you need, including bottled
water. If you have favorite movies, music, games, books or children's toys, you
may want to bring them along. Bring your own personal toiletries. We
also suggest sunglasses, sunscreen, a sun hat, and beach sandals. Although
it's usually very warm, you'll probably want to pack a sweater or light jacket,
long pants, and some socks for winter evenings. You should bring some cash
(US Dollars work fine) because some of the businesses in the East Cape area do
not take credit cards.
