Villa Los Frailes Back in Business

The area around Cabo Pulmo was hit very hard by the hurricane, but the villa is back up and running just like normal.  Roads are clear.  Repeat guests just returned and had a great time.

Toys for Mexican Kids

Dear Guests,
We would like to invite you to participate in our toys for Mexican Kids Party that the Villa sponsors on Christmas Eve in a village north of San Jose.  Your unwrapped toy valued at approximately $10.00 for a child 6 months – 12 years old would be greatly appreciated.  Last year the Villa received and donated over 60 gifts.  This year the Villa co-owner Jim, is in charge of the program.  Our long time friend Erlinda Weyer is in poor health and can no longer undertake the workload.  If you are in the San Jose area during Christmas we would like to invite you to put on your elf hat and come and pass out toys and Spanish language bibles.  From all our friends in San Jose and staff at the villa we wish you a Merry Christmas in July.

Rate Increase

As of today we are raising villa rentals by 10%, the standard rate will be $550 per night, holidays, $660.  This is the first rate increase in 8 years.  We have added additional costs with internet and telephone services and have absorbed many gas price increases.
